#37, I think you're spot on there John, a lot of people at election time come under the "don't know" section of the voting intentions, the papers owners and editors quite forcibly push their own leanings forward e.g. the Sun Tory, the Mirror labour
elections have been won and lost because of the influence of the media, just look at the BBC's bias in the Brexit campaign,
thankfully it didn't work this time, but they are still trying as it's gone against their wishes. JC
I myself think that the Pollsters swing the vote,and may I say probably in favour of the underdog.If the pollsters say Clinton is 5points clear maybe people who would vote for Clinton but are a bit lazy about voting take the attitude,well she is well ahead she has won so she doesn't need my vote.Then again the people who would vote for Trump and are a bit lazy about voting hear that all these Latin'os are going out to vote and Clinton is 5 points in front so they feel that they must get out and vote.
I think it was the same over Brexit,the pollsters had remain in front.

Havent looked at yet Jim but just bought the International Express. The Glaring Headlines on front page are 3 judges knock back Brexit. Will read the story later. If those are British judges it may be time to have these F#rts put in their place, they also are not above the will of the people and if High Crown Judges go by old Laws going back centuries so maybe could re- invoke the law of the burning of witches. See how combustible they are. JS
Very interesting article in one of our national papers here today in Oz.
Claimed Clinton was lazy, out of touch with reality and stuck with old concepts. Maybe they are right, she did put very little new ideas forward.
But what amazed me more is the ignorance of some journalists, either they do not want to accept the fact trump has one, or they have little or no brain with which to operate.
Our PM held a press conference and some of the questions were so dumb he just ignored them.
One guy asked,' what do you think will happen next'? Who knows comes to mind as a reply.
Don't think she does much housework John, and as for breakfast in bed forget it. Have you just realized how ignorant some journalists are, in a lot of cases they cause the rabble rousing. If you ever get round to talking to some of them, they try to put their words into your mouth, whatever you do keep perfectly still look straight ahead and never nod your head , as that will be used as an affirmative to whatever question they ask next week. They are the eighth wonder of the world and have as much destructive power as an atomic warhead. Whatever you do, don't take what you read as the truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth as God wont help you. They are very similar in make up to politicians and appear to have all been born in the same cabbage patch, which has been over fertilized. Cheers JS

They were British judges John.The appeal is on December 5th and will be heard by eleven Supreme Court judges it will last four days and the decision is expected in the new year.After the lambasting by the press of the judges who made the original decision that Brexit was illegal,they were called "enemies of the state etc"I hope these eleven don't take umbrage and take the attitude "This is the law and you will obey it to the letter".Quote:
