Another good Dimbleby Post Referendum Question Time just now.
Former SNP leader Alex Salmond aka 'Oor Wullie' thought he was debating a Scottish referendum ,mentioning his protegé‚ Nicola Sturgeon aka 'Primrose Patterson' in every question he was asked!

The Black 'Racist' MP Diane Abbott was her usual shrill obnoxious self.She needs a good PR manager.
Tory MP Anna Soubrey ,such a fervent pre-referendum Remain campaigner had calmed down somewhat,probably knowing that her very pro-immigration stance is not going to continue to sit too well with most of her colleagues.
Deputy UKIP leader and MEP Paul Nuttall was good,and likened the current state of Westminster to a jigsaw thrown on the floor,and everyone had to work together and sort themselves out. A rather apt analogy.

. The latest rant is that the SNP will use its block vote to stop the Brexit, or something along those lines as I am not quite sure what she means. What is abundantly clear is that on the BBC news tonight a Professor of law from Edinburgh university stated that the SNP could not do this as it would be illegal and that the only certain thing is that the Brexit will go ahead.

#42. John, your post suggests that the SNP should employ joined up thinking something that is beyond the.

Dominic Raab, made a very good point on Question Time tonight. Instead of the SNP threatening to leave because of the referendum, they hould wait until the results of the final negotiations before making any decisions, but that's beyond the wit of wee Burney.

Two interesting points, Sturgeon is hoping to employ some obsure legislation to block the result of the referendum.

Secondly, the EU have told the SNP, the UK leaving includes Scotland and that Scotland applying would take years, seems like everybody is out of step except Wee Burney.

Cameron has put the ball firmly in the court of the Leave campaign, he is saying OK you won, so you launch Article 50 because then, if anything goes wrong it will be down to you. I just hope that having taken us there, there is someone willing to take us to where we want to be again. Free and capable of running the country on our terms doing what we want to do and not being ruled by a bunch of faceless bureaucrats who are only interested in lining their own pockets with the overpaid salaries afforded to them by Brussels. We joined a Common Market, we left a political union dominated by the very people who tried to rule us back in the 40s, let someone take the reins very quickly and take us back to where we belong.

I am prepared for some flack on this - Nigel Farage springs to mind. He has been campaigning for 20 years on this. I don't know what your thoughts are Chris, but who do we have. Michael Gove or maybe Andrea Ledson. I really don't kinow.

I must admit John that Andrea Ledson has really impressed me. During the TV debates, she was calm, played the point rather than the person and put her points across very well. She is definitely a front runner for me. I feel that she would put the UKs case very well and with dignity. She is not a Thatcher, she is more demure, but she appears strong and most of all, a potential leader.

Just my little bit, first congratulations to all those who voted out, from what I am reading and TV it appears that the first serious blow came from the working class areas around Newcastle and the north, looks like Cappy was very active in the Labour camp up there.
If Corbin was campaigning to stay in then if he has any kind of balls he would resign his post as leader of the Labor Party,but hey ,when have you seen any MP with morals these days.
I don't think the Scottish member of the LB movement has looked at the state her country would be in if she breaks away, no income, no health system,I don't know what Scotland rmanufactures but like my own former country Wales not enough to keep house and home together.
Northern Ireland wants to break away, OH what joy, no more troops being shot on the streets, and when Southern Ireland take them over they can call on German storm troopers to save them. And there my friends lies the danger, Imagine Scotland holding manouvers with German troops for some perceaved threat from England, after all it is June and this is the third time Britain has defeated Germany.

Des think Scotland relies on its so called oil revenues from the North Sea, which at the moment seem to be in decline and dont show that many years of life remaining. Of course there is always their reputation as good makers of the brew, but price for price Suntory is showing good competition. Kilts are always in fashion but the clans may have the rights of allowing their tartans to be sold. Scotland always had the reputation of being self sufficient but not in the way of lifestyle they obviously don't want to lose. Shipbuilding like England was always a strong trade, maybe they should once again try and get back onto the main stream of the industry. If they want to go it alone it is their business, financially they will find it harder without England than with it. Another country borrowing from the EMF will not go down very well with the Europeans those that is who are contributing to supporting Greece and a few others yet to come on main stream. The Lady pushing for such is doing Scotland a great disservice by pushing her face barely out of puberty into the world of high finance, she wants to change her rhetoric or as others go and live with her adopted European friends and find out for herself how beneficent they are. Also as the platforms and gas and oil installations come down a very big job, I believe Scotland to some extent will also have responsibility for the cost of such, and this with no revenue coming in what country is going to welcome her with open arms. She will just be another insert into the loss side of the portage account. I would imagine if people want to go by the book Scotland would be certainly not self sufficient if she tries again to get distance between her country and England. However may be on the totally wrong track, the proof will be in the pudding when she tries to eat it. Cheers JWS
