Jim, I think this is going to get pretty nasty before it gets better. It would appear that Angela Eagle has been ordered by her Wallasey Labour Party to support Corbyn or else ! There is also now a 600 plus petition calling on her to resign, I suspect this has been formed by the Conservative Party. She is a potential leadership candidate, so it looks like the Unions and extreme left see her as a danger to Corbyn and want her out. I do not like the woman one bit but have to admire her stance against Corbyn. The problem now is that all the extremenests on both the right and left will see the Brexit vote, confusion, uncertainty and Labour and Tory Party turmoil as a great chance to spread their polson and hatred throughout the country. This could lead to civil unrest and a big rise in hate crimes and the Government will have be careful not to prolong the leadership elections and push for the activation of Article 50 as soon as possible rather than later.

Chris just reading about Angela Eagle she has been an MP for many years in Wallasey and as far as I was aware she was very popular with her constituents.She said the reason that she resigned and went against Corbyn she is of the opinion that there could be a General Election in four months time and with him in charge the Labour party has no chance,they are my words not Angela's but that is what she is getting at.

##dont think jim i am sure who will lead the tories ...i myself have no great leaning to anyone at this stage ....but feel that person must be a leave supporter or the scenario will be watered down......i think boris is at the moment the best contender ....if he throws his hat in.....wether he is the man ...idont know.....time will tell regards cappy
If Worzel Gummage stays as leader of the Labor party how can they hope to win an election if as you say one will be held in a few months.
My assumption, may be wrong, but if Boris is taken on as leader the Conservatives may well stay in office for another five years or so.
Boris is not playing, there must have been a fallout. I must still say My choice would be Andea Ledsom but if Theresa May wins, Andrea would make good Chancellor having a banking background.
Can anyone truly believe that Mr. Corbyn is the right person to lead a major political party when in the same breath he mentions Israel and I.S. saying that Jews cannot be held responsible for Israel's actions in Palestine the same as Mslims cannot be held responsible for I.S.
One jewish labour M.P. listening to him making that speech just the other day gave a gasp of horror and walked out.
Labour really need to get there act together and get rid of him as any countries Parliamentary system needs a strong opposition to keep the ruling party in check.
