Who Rules Us ?
Paxman in Brussels.Who Really Rules Us.? BBC1 tonight 8.00pm. worth a look I think.
Jeremy Paxman looks at how the EU works ,from the notion of sovereignty to the passing of laws, and asks how the UK might change after the referendum no matter the outcome.
Regards.

Re: Who Rules Us ?
I think for those who were unsure which way to vote should've had their mind made up to vote out if they watched Paxman on the EU.

"WHO RULES US"
I want US to rule US and not some unelected person
in Brussels who we cannot even remove from office.

Re: Who Rules Us ?
The Remain campaign accuses the Brexit campaigners of spouting falsehoods over EU contributions, they claim that the £350m a wee is an over exaggeration.
I found a document online produced by HM Treasury and the figures therein produced by the Office of Budget Responsibility. Since 2008 until 2014 (latest figures) our GROSS contributions have increased from £8b a year to just over £19b in 2014.
So the Brexit campaigners are correct in their figures.

Re: Who Rules Us ?
They do keep informing us that we get a rebate from our weekly contribution of 32 million, this is true, but it has to be spent where they say and on what. Hopefully get shot of the baskets soon, kt
