hi shipmates, punch & judy is part of history? How can you ban British history? or WHATS NEXT? what will give offence to any group or life style choice ban it . THE list is endless Easter christmas birthdays trooping the colour, The boat race, all horse racing{ by me} I hate winning bookmakers, {joke} but Punch & Judy is the start of the P.C. taking over the British way of life NOT for the better.
Yes Lous, the indigenous population o these Islands have to change to suit the incomers.
Ramadan, the kids exams have been change so that the ****** kids do not suffer during the fasting.
Surely the kids could have been exempted from fasting, that would be to simple minority rules!!!!

Thanks for that, I never saw a Punch and Judy show that I can remember, but if it is to be banned watch out for the burning of the books next. Out here in Aus there is a woman murdered by her partner every week and the bashing are in the hundreds but there is no Punch and Judy shows; only punch the wife shows. In the old days a group of Welsh women paraded on a cliff top wearing the big Welsh hats to deter a landing by I think the French who thought they were troops, is that part of history to be banned because it insults the French? What about showing Dad's Army on TV making fun out of the local vicar. reruns of the battle of Britain in case it upsets the German's. Talk of political madness.

I think next they will be banning porn, because it gives young people an unhealthy idea of how quickly a plumber will come to your house.
Look at much of the songs, performances such as P&J, and you will find they are from the nations history.
Songs that came about such as 'Ring a ring of roses' from the plauge, Humpty Dumpty and mmany more depict part of our heritage. They came about as a way of teaching those of lower education standards at the time about history.
You may well ban such things but it will not change what occured, though some may differ on that.
It is about time we all got together and banned some of the lunatics who preach this crap, including most of the polis.
