I worked down the pit for 18yrs and always voted Tory ,wasted vote, I did'nt realise we where one of the poorest areas in the country since all the mines
closed the area is much better and the best thing is we dont have any mosques wich is a bonus Terry

Re: Offshore Accounts.
In the begining ploiticians were only from the landed gentry and not paid. Thyen pay came in to stop the rorts being carried out as a result of bribery of the said politicians.
We the people choose our politicians in most cses from one of two parties for many reasons, we like the, we have always voted for them, my family has always voted for them etc.
The people get the government they deserve as most do not do theior homework and consider carefully just what or who they vote for.
To change the system will require all of the people to sit up and take notice then do something to change the rules.
But as to money, in many cases it is money that keeps men in work, the compnaies tta make the money employ the workers.
But it is better to be healthy than rich. A healthy man can always work. a sick man with all the money in the world may not be able to recover from a serious illness which takes him out.
Happy daze John in Oz.
Life is too short to blend in.
