Re: Stop Immigration Petition.
yes jim i would do this for specific reasons .....we send too much to other countries .....according to our opposition party we have thousands of our own children in poverty ....our hospitals are full ....our schools are full ...there are no more jobs ....there are infiltraters amongst them who will sacrifice all to do us harm......i could go on all day .....but it appears the people who say let them all in are making the biggest noise...if the gates open as in germany ....who are now panicking .....this my precious country will be lost altogether.........NO MORE shut the door.....regards cappy

Re: Stop Immigration Petition.
Cappy lets not get political on this subject, Dont blame the opposition for consecutive failings in all public funding its a cross party S.N.P. Included problem. The country is bursting at the seams its reaching breaking point, And i am not getting political but lets see what Cameron brings back from the E.U. Before we start making judgments, and how much egg is left of the face of Osbourn regarding his growth prediction and the great give away in the Autumn buget based on it. And lets not forget the price of oil that Aberdeen or anyone else never seen comming . So lets not proportion blame anywhere the fact you mention what you have spells it out for me since this government went solo. Enough said for now. There are many who will sign Jims petition and there are many that wont thats more of a worry to me the people who cant see what we are in line for in this country if we dont get out of Europe and tighten our boarders. Regards Terry.

Re: Stop Immigration Petition.
ted i dont know enough about the ins or outs of europe to make a choice at this stage .....i will leave it to more knowledgible people than me.... my comments are on more people coming in than we can take......the only political statement i made recently was the opposition leader standing in calais and saying let them in .....i have no reason to have them in......we are full.......shut the door.... that is my message to all parties in this country......as for europe i think people will vote to stay in.......the majority will be scared of the outcome if we come out......my view regards cappy

Re: Stop Immigration Petition.
AS an outsider now an ex pat my advice is look carefully at what you sign. Watch what is happening in the rest of Europe and choose wisely. Yes you need to take control of your borders and watch with great care those already in the country for that is where the greatest danger lies. It is up to the people to react, here in Oz marches against so many things yet I see very little of such in UK. A petition is good but it requires strong visible action for MPs to take notice.

That 499,000 would possibly be refugees that are already here Jim

Re: Stop Immigration Petition.
Ivan I notice on these two petitions the criteria is British citizen OR UK resident so you are most probably right in what you say.

I had noticed that also Jim, makes it rather skewed, should be British Citizens only, they are our islands afterall
