Happy Christmas Memories.
I was just thinking that when I was a little boy, a long time ago now, how strange it was that at Christmas I always found the silver thrupeny bit in the Christmas Pudding.(God Bless you Mum).

I couldn't even find my Christmas Pudding yesterday looked ever were for it no were to be found, had to settle for mince pie.God it's a hard life.

As for me well not even a Xmas Dinner Yesterday!
Just the two old Folks at home alone with a Chicken , (Roasted that is LOL
)
But wait! Come Sunday all the Kids are coming up ,Sean is bringing his famous Pork Roast Yummy!
I will be Roasting Chicken and Beef,Potatoes,Pumpkin, and doing a Cauliflower with lovely white sauce!
All this will be followed by the Traditional Xmas Pud! Oh yea cannot wait!

It was a silver sixpence John, looks like you have been underspending, the thrupenni bit had eight perimeter sides, happy christmas and watch yer teeth on them there coins

We had our Christmas Pud, but couldn't make up my mind whether to have Double Cream, Custard or Brandy Butter on it.

little correction!
Sure was ,a Silver "threepenny bit" gradually went out of circulation , possibly,sometime,in the Forties.
Along with the Farthing.

Gentlemen #7 and #8, my apologies, I stand corrected, now that my brain is semi working again I think the eight sided superceded the silver thrupenni bit and we retained the silver tanner, memories they are like buses, they come and go!
