    Default Happy Christmas Memories.

I was just thinking that when I was a little boy, a long time ago now, how strange it was that at Christmas I always found the silver thrupeny bit in the Christmas Pudding.(God Bless you Mum).

We had our Christmas Pud, but couldn't make up my mind whether to have Double Cream, Custard or Brandy Butter on it.

Sure was ,a Silver "threepenny bit" gradually went out of circulation , possibly, sometime,in the Forties.

Gentlemen #7 and #8, my apologies, I stand corrected, now that my brain is semi working again I think the eight sided superceded the silver thrupenni bit and we retained the silver tanner, memories they are like buses, they come and go!
