Just a small addition to this post have just been watching the 1600 hrs. news in WA. A reporter no doubt an ABC one asked this one of many Syrian refugees what his views were on our PM going to start and bomb Syria. His reply was better he didn't, it is an Arabic war and should be solved by Arabic nations. What could be any clearer than that. Even the deserters from their own countries recognize the war for what it is. It was all started by interference from outside and should of been from the onset a national war between various Arabic nations and religions. Apart from the Scarlet Pimpernel Britain did not side with anybody officially during the French Revolution, and he was only a figment of someones imagination. JS

This announcement by Cameron in parliament today that 2 British IS Fighters have been killed by R.A.F. Drone, Bloody good on him lets hope its the first of many, On the flip side it was done about 2 weeks ago so me suspects he used it as much as I welcome it, As a smoke screen on his first defeat of many a vote in parliament on the E.U Referendum. And 5 Tory rebels who voted against him out of the 37 where ex Tory cabinet ministers, As I posted his majority is a very slender one indeed. I still predict he will not last the full 5 years, Don't want a political storm as I wont indulge just saying it as it is Terry.

Looking in as an ex pat I can see so many problems in UK. Cameron is doing a fine job in trying to get the nation back on an even keel but he is hampered by EU red tape and the goings on in parts of the world. When it was the Common Market things were good, now as the EU it is not. The concept of putting together nations such as are now part of the EU and expect them all to sing from the same hymn sheet is asking for trouble. Cultures and ideals of so many nations cannot be melded into one without some discontent. Good for the poorer nations but for those who are doing well it can spell real problems.
Statesmen only come along once in a generation if you are lucky in the mean time you must do the best you an with what you have. Here in Oz our PM is doing the besth e can under the circumstances, while the opposition leader concenters on gay marriage and the chance of a republic, nothing about the economy.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

The UK is always going to be hampered by the EU. All these so called migrants into Germany will be a stepping stone into the UK as and when they like. The lack of borders does nothing apart from cause a lot of strife, and for any country to be dictated to by another in most cases is not going to happen. The UK will be one of the few which on going by the Rules will only suffer, the long awaited promise of a referendum and whichever way it goes will be the deciding fate of the UK, as will cease to exist if stays in, the people who voted for will only have themselves to blame apart from the idiots who put them there in the first place. A point of interest on the issue of those fleeing Syria. The greater majority are single men, where are the families of them? Will they seek asylum then ask for family reunion access?

Nay John lad! they will send their child support home to Syria to enable them to set up businesses etc.

I see the Anti British Broadcasting Corporation, said a new era has opened now that the Government has decided to use British Forces against British Forces!!! BRITISH FORCES! they are terrorists and nothing more. Labour is calling for an inquiry into why the Government has has killed British Citizens and wants the information on how information was obtained on them (the terrorists), why don't we just invite the terrorists to GCHQ and let them view our files on them, then everybody will be happy.

I actually think this almighty cock up by the so called politicians has its good points, because surely the general public can see that EU is a dead duck. If they vote to stay IN after this fiasco, then they are truly mental. wait till all those granted asylum import all their families, we will then be a Moos lim state, kt

Syria cannot be all that bad, a lot of moo, slims, from UK seem to want to go there. They have just caught a family who left England and were caught in Turkey before they got across the border and then brought them back to UK. Why not let them all go then hopefully they can be zapped.
That Harriet Harperson is a Total Nut Case. and the same with Mrs Balls. I saw them on TV complaining about British lads being killed.
They didn't look British to me, They didn't look Welsh even tho` one was born in Cardiff. and one was born in Scotland.
When I heard the News I got out my Captain Morgans Rum and gave a toast to the RAF.
Lets here more News like that.

The BIG Problem is, our Government is inviting 20,000 more into the Country, All young fit healthy well trained men from ISIS to live amongst us.
We should get rid of Parliament and all 650 MPs and just have one good Dictator like Lee Kwan Yew of Singapore who only wants the Best for Britain.

Lee Kwan Yoo sadly was one of the good ones, there are very few today. All is politics and nothing in it for the average man, or woman. All the polis want is their snouts in the trough, power to do as they wish and to be one of the ';gang' who globally decide who will live or die.

Lee had his snout well and truly in the trough, and controlled the press and judiciary in Singapore. He also controlled half the publishers of English language books around the globe. He did a lot of good for Singapore, but nowadays Singaporean couples have to have both partners working, and run faster and faster just to stay in the same place.
