Re: Current news VS Current opinions (part ll)
According to figures given by the media, a very fluid assesment one could assume, there are as many as 40 countries in the coalition against ISIS. That being the case they could quite easily raise an army of half a million soldiers. Such an army could in my opinion take ISIS out once and for all. But is that what the powers that be realy want? Somehow I am of the opinion that we are not being given all the facts, and as for the truth, the first casualty of any conflict.
Re: Current news VS Current opinions (part ll)
Whatever the outcome of this middle east conflict, the west is in a no win situation with their present attitude to human rights and all the bits that accompany it. Even if and when ISIS is knocked out of the conflict it will be the perfect grounds for further insurrection in this area. The excuse of the rights to practice the religion of choice has exceeded its use by date for starters, there can be no excuse for anyone with a western background of western ways of living to give an inch to these alien religions which look upon murder and mayhem as their right. The ghettos and such areas appearing in western society and their own laws appearing which are not conducive to their country of so called haven, have to be expunged in no uncertain terms. If strong action is not already too late it should now be the first thought of any worthwhile politician, or they will live to rue the day they brought their own countries to their knees by the their blind ineptness. Talk is talk and action is action, which has been lacking for far too many years now. A country which has to appeal to alien beings taking shelter in their lands for the flying of their own flag, should at least open peoples minds to what is going on. JS

Re: Current news VS Current opinions (part ll)
John and Brian, you are correct but do not go blaming it on the EU, the British citizens have taken this so called legislation and used it to create employment for the, normally, unemployable and layabouts. This puts these people in what they percieve to be a position of power, these ex school-yard bullies who are as thick as two short planks, they have bosses who back them with praise and this allows these bosses to pay a minimum wage.
The people of Britain need to wake up and tell these idiots to F**K off. Here in France the people know that it is they who are in charge and take no nonsense from the likes of local Hitlers who call themselves health and safety etc.etc.. Religion has no place in state affairs.
Re: Current news VS Current opinions (part ll)
bob I am not against anyone coming here but we have thousands coming in with absolutely no intention of ever going to work or learn the language I am Shure that you can speak the lingo in France I have a polish neighbour and a nice hard working lad and his wife he tells us its hard to pay your way in this country but he is having a go. but like Paris now London is a tip parts are tent cities and we cant deport for any crimes they commit because we cant its big brother EU that tells us we cant simple there is always a loophole they can jump through a band wagon they can jump on that's what pi..ess the British off we have no control over our own affairs anymore? let the vote {if we ever get one} speak for the masses here and if we do get out start deporting those who should not be here clear the prisons out and get shut of the religious nut cases that are here then maybe we can get back on our feet again.and live in peace. jp

#36... Just received this from a friend, obviously lives in a different area than me, so is his attempt at humour...JS Subject: Fw: Rockingham Storm Appeal
Subject: Rockingham Storm
Torrential rain and strong winds hit Rockingham in the early hours of last night.
Victims were seen wandering around aimlessly, flannies soaked, woollen trackies sagging, muttering 'Faaackinell'.
Flood waters devastated the area causing approximately $30 worth of damage.
Three areas of historic burnt out cars were disturbed. Many locals were woken well before their Centrelink cheques arrived.
The Rockingham Times reported that hundreds of residents were confused and bewildered and were still trying to come to terms with the fact that something interesting had happened in Read St.
One resident - Tracy Maree Sharon Britney Madonna Skye-Smith, a 15-year-old mother of 5 said 'It was such a shock, my little daughter Chardonnay-Mercedes came running in to my bedroom crying. My youngest two Joachim and River slept through it all.' The water rushed in the front door and out the back – it was amazing, the place has never been so clean!”
Apparently, looting, muggings and car crime were unaffected and carried on as normal.
The Australian Red Cross has so far managed to ship 4,000 crates of Bacardi-Breezers to the area to help the stricken locals. Rescue workers are still searching through the rubble and have found large quantities of personal belongings, including Health Care Cards, Jewellery from Kmart and Bone China from Big W.
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
This appeal is to raise money for food and clothing parcels for those unfortunate enough to be caught up in this disaster. Clothing is most sought after - items most needed include: flannelette Shirts, tight blue jeans or spandex, singlets (blue & white) white sport socks, Ugg boots, hoodies and any other items usually sold in Priceline or The Reject Shop.
Food parcels may be harder to come by, but are needed all the same.
Required foodstuffs urgently needed include: Microwave meals, Baked Beans, Ice cream, Sarah Lee Frozen Cheesecakes, Chips, all Fizzy drinks, Wagon Wheels, Tim Tams, Coco Pops and Fruit Loops. No Diet Coke
Donations of $25.00 will be taken to buy a packet of Winny blue 25s and a lighter and cans of Jim Bean to calm the nerves of those affected.
Re: Current news VS Current opinions (part ll)
It was also reported that the State emergency service went into the raea to clear away the mess. But they were unsucessful as the locals asid we like it this way. It eventuated that some of the dump bins are now home to some locals and the contents of the recyling bin are in fact the belongings od the local mayor
Re: Current news VS Current opinions (part ll)
I have been to Rockingham a few times and it says it as it is.
. In 2005 I sailed from Fremantle to Liverpool on a cruise ship, FUNCHAL, and there were 400 of them, known as the Rockingham Mafia, drunks and battles all the way, just a normal every day cruise.
Cheers
Brian
