Re: drinking wine now
For years if I had one glass of wine I would get one hell of a headache. When I was on the container ships we would have a couple of bottles of wine at the Captains table every Sunday lunch. which I would decline and have a glass of lemonade. I can manage a glass of wine now, but only if it topped up with lemonade, and only white wine. Red wine I do not like.
Regards
John

Re: drinking wine now
Something else I have tried just lately in place of always Ginger Beer (Now not able to drink it anymore Ginger Beer that is either because of the Sugar content) I bought a pack of Six Non Alcoholic and Sugar free Apple Cider, made on a private Farm not too far from Blackheath ,it has I must say a nice taste and a bit of a Zing to it!
I also now can buy the Sugar free Coke, which I love!
Havent as yet seen a Sugar Free Ginger Beer, but possibly the Light style may have a lot less Sugar??
In my younger days I used to Drink a lot too, with all kinds of junk thrown down my gullet LOL!:)
Cheers

Re: drinking wine now
Could drink both. Remember years ago drinking torpedos. A glass of port in a pint of beer. Gave quick results and after effects next morning was like a sinking ship. Dont think any of us drink like we used to, as though there was no tomorrow, there probably wasnt in those days as was probably back at sea and teetotal again. Cappy a mate of mine way overweight had to stop drinking, drinks pints of coke in the bar, dont know if it does much for his weight though, but no one asks him about it. Stick with your mate and drink what you want, he"s having you on, its your company he wants not the contents of your stomach. Nothing wrong with wine, or anything else one wants to drink. Its these ex alcoholics who want to convert everyone else that are a pain. Are you still looking to moving. Cheers John S.

Re: drinking wine now
If you are not in a rush Cappy, then stick to your Guns as far as a good price goes!
I know that we did when selling in Penrith, although the Agent said we would not get what we wanted as the Area was not that flash!
He was wrong,we sat it out and and landed up getting just $2500 short of the price we wanted!
Hope you too will get a good price,i am sure you will given time.
Cheers
PS We bought this place in Blackheath $15000 under the asking price! So in all came up winners!

Re: drinking wine now
Hi Cappy.
I drink wine and no one has put the hard word on me as yet, I'm so disappointed.
Think Billy Connolly and drink it in the graveyard ha ha.
No I drink wine, two small wine glasses before dinner that's all the wife will allow. But if you drink fortified wine top it up with a little water.
Good luck with selling when we sold in NZ we had to wait nearly two years and even then were duded, so just wait until your sure your happy with the price.
Cheers Des
