    Default liverpool sports psychiatrist

An interesting interview on Newsnight last night(UK) by the guy who has been working with Liverpool football team, and who are now flying high in the league, also works with Ronnie Osullivan, who is known to have a short fuse. he says we all have a *chimp* in our brain, and every now and again the chimp comes to the fore part of the brain and takes over, and we have to push the chimp back to the rear and control him. i wonder how he works with some that i know who have a gorilla instead of a chimp??, me thinks he could double up as a marriage councillor , KT

There's a book on the market Alf, 'Lern yerself Scouse' which would certainly be 'shrink friendly' for those who would apply for the position.

I did read somewhere that one of the teams in the EPL had a white Englishman in it, but I think thta was jsut a rumour. Anyone knows such a person would not be able to spaek with the other team members.

Keith, I also watched that intrview on newsnight, And the first thing that came to mind was the late great Bill Shankly, Could you see him having anything of that sort at L.F.C. or any other club for that matter. We seaman had the same chimp mate at sea we got logged a days pay when our chimp jumped out. And we never got paid £3.000.000 a week Regards Terry.

What does a soccer team need a psychiarist for anyway, to see if they are sane?? With the sort of money they earn should be in Harley Street and paying for their own if required. Does the crowd booing them at times give them a complex or something?? JS

#9... Lou should have told them there were no suitable holes in the wall, otherwise might have enlarged them and climbed out. There have been more lunatics let out of the asylum on the say so of these people than enough. Where do they get all this so called knowledge from, probably from the rantings of a lunatic himself. All people are different and to put them under the one heading and so call treat I have my doubts. Would take years to understand one person. Married 53 years and still dont understand my wife. Cheers John S
