John,mate, whilst I've no wish to join in this purposeful destruction of my own thread, might I offer the opinion that before Cappy could mate with an emu he would first need to catch one. A vision of Cappy, at full gallop through the scrub, pursuing a startled emu, whilst hurling Geordie insults and empty Guinness bottles in a desperate bid to attract the attention of his prospective (albeit reluctant) avian lover, doth truly boggle the mind. Exhausted by the thought of such a bizarre scenario, I shall now take a tablet (blue) and have a nice lie down.:)Quote:

#32 Roger, about 150 posts ago Cappy regaled us of his passionate affair with an Emu whilst on the run in Australia. I strongly suspect he still has a desire to recall his youth and to see his courting procedures with such in the past have not disappeared. Wouldnt know what variety of birds he has chased, but an emu was certainly near the top his list. Cheers John S

In view of Cappy's predeliction for large breasted birds of the feathered variety, one can only surmise that he had a rather unusual (dare I say 'kinky') experience during his formative years. Could it be, that when we other young bloods were feasting our eyes upon the scantily clad pulchritude one found in 'Titbits' and similar publications, Cappy spent his free time gazing fondly at the lurid, colourful, images in the 'Ornithological Weekly' (whilst frantically ruffling his own feathers, no doubt). It hardly bears thinking about, doesn't it? :) Quite frankly, the more I learn of Cappy's rather strange pursuits, the more convinced I am that he is a sick puppy....... a very sick puppy indeed. Perhaps a visit to the 'vet' would be beneficial, but who can really say? At his age, whatever ails him is probably incurable.:eek:

Its strange he has never made any known preferences for the Foo Foo bird. Maybe what this bird is capable of doing might is some strange way put him of and may choose his own aperture by mistake. However this may well be worth the risk he might take as the cry of ecstacy it emits is very close to Y I man. JS.

Rob, what Cappy needs is nourishment not punishment. He needs the love and understanding of one willing to fulfil his particular needs. My garden's full of them at the moment, absolutely atwitter with white cockatoos, crested pigeons and rainbow lorikeets (now they would really turn him on and get his juices running). There's enough here to satisfy the desires of the most depraved bird fancier, including Cappy. He could salivate and chat up a bird to his hearts content.
