No comment really Peter, but we all know that truth is sometimes stranger than fiction, and that some authorities have ways of making you not talk about what you have seen.

[QUOTE=Louis the fly;154819]My diet consists of endless cups of strong black coffee together with Golden Virginia.
And how old is this Virginia??????
I have a theory about the fact thta so mnay of us are still around and fit for our age. During and for a number of years after food was rationed. We had to make do with what was there, bread and milk for breakkfast no Coco Pops then. The food was wholesome and we did not overeat, this gave our young Adonis like bodies the chance to grow naturally. Now most of the food is processed and even over processed, meat and veg force grown, little wonder there are so many with Cancer and many other terrible complaints.
Have just read this thread after earlier finishing my usual Monday round of golf. Must say feeling a iittle weary. But did win the money. Will be 88 this year !!! And still enjoying a glass.....or two sometimes 3 /4 !!!.

Regarding obesity which can obviously lead to your life being shortened.
The U.K. government is trying to tackle the obesity crisis by getting us to use less sugar, avoid fats etc. etc.
In the USA? a set of identical twins who obviously share the same DNA are well on the way to proving that its not really the amount of sugar or calories that you eat that makes you fat, it is more the amount of PROCESSED food we eat of which the Americans are the biggest consumers.
One twin followed a diet that reduced his calorie intake but used processed food whilst the other twin followed the same diet but cut out all processed food. Result. One twin is getting fat whilst the other is maintaining a healthy weight, you can guess which one, can't you.
