Have just received an Email from Dennis McGuckin who as most will know has been on Holiday in Cuba!
He had a great time and is now hopefully refreshed to return to his normal duties here ! LOL!

Anyway I had asked him whilst there to go and visit an old friend JL ,(In the Park) and he said he would!
So true to his word he went to see JL but said he wasn't moving as he used to ! haha!

Doesn't he look great! (Dennis that is LOL)

hi doc dennis I believe lives in chemainus ......went there in 58.......had to go through thewoods to get to a tiny settlement bears all over the woods .......crapping my self .......every time I heard a leaf fall ..........remember as we approached up river I think the fraser.......massive fish leaping out the water .......what are they bi said to the bosun.........septimus Kincaid from shields......wel said he you no if you go to your grannies for tea on a sunday ...and she opens a tin to make sandwiches with ....whats in them salmon said correct said seppy its just those buggers havnt been caught yet.......I can remember that chat55 years later ......he was a company bosun for runcimans .....js might no him he lived up our st .....long gone now
