You have to cancel the water meter before twelve months are up, otherwise you will be stuck with it. I asked about one as I aqm a widower living alone, and was told by the water board flunkey, to stay as I was, as it could cost more. This is despite the rabble in Westminster telling people to go on a water meter. I believe that all new properties have to have one, whether they like it or not!

I don't have to worry about getting floods where I live 950 feet above sea level and it is the nearest to heaven I will get
