Think you will find Brian it is your neighbour who takes the curry, not the birds.

[QUOTE=Captain Kong;146370]I once knew a young lady in Sydney who liked the odd cockatoo.
.
Now Brian are you boasting or trying to tell us somethinG?
Like Vernon we get hundreds of birds in our garden, they come for food we put out and the nectar from flowers and trees. A family of Magpies, two Blackbirds with their chicks nesting in the Boganvillia, but come the Summer when the fruit is full upon the trees, the apples, plums, nectarines, peaches and pears the invasion will begin. The Rainbow Lorakeets, Green Parrots etc and in days the fruit will be gone.So back to the greengrocer to buy fruit I tried to grow.
Being a bird fancier of the 38 22 38 variety, don't know much about cockatoos like Brian does. Have often wondered however do the black ones breed with the white ones, as both breeds are either one or the other. Cheers John Sabourn
always remember the story to the females ......have you had budgie in your right hand ...answer no ......have you had a parrot in your left hand......her no ........open your mouth ......I bet you've had a cockatoo in there though ......usully loud laughing butnever heard one say otherwise
Ref. 21. In which case the dog poo on your lawn Brian aint dog poo. Have a nice day.,. John Sabourn
Vernon, I like your new bird feeder. I've still got the original one. Here she is with the father of our king parrots.

Brian, maybe Charlie felt tidak bagus but "Burung Kakak Tua" (literally 'the old cockatoo') would put the squawk back into him. When we all piled into my business partner, Hartono's tank like Mercedes and headed up the mountain to cool Puncak from Jakarta the kids (and us) would include this folk song in our squarking.Quote:
I had one on the Euryades for six months when I was in the Spice Islands, Charlie Kakatoa
