Rob I dont know what inspired you to write #32 but seeing that you seem to know a lot about this subject and I may be a likely candidate could you please tell me how long that I am likely to be in there.Will it be one hour,one day,one year,one hundred years or seeing that it is eternal life maybe a million years waiting my turn to be released from this purgatory in to the kingdom of heaven.????

My Point being more specific about the Catholic Church and many others is the fact that we are asked to empty our pockets everytime there is a Disaster of which I have no objection, my point is this latest Disaster is in a Catholic Dominated country of which the Vatican excepts millionof dollars in collection funds and so called Assistance programs, the nasty part of it is that they pay no tax and yet are one of the Richest Organisations on this planet, The pope himself will stand outside on his Balcony and raise his hands saying (All my People) let us pray and yet they will take your money any old time and make it tax free in their own very holy Papal Vatican city making a law unto themselves.
Banks do the same too with oversea,s aid money making 5Pounds on every Pound given in oversea,s aid loans, not a bad profit is it.
If any of us carried out our lives like that we would be in Jail as Tax Avoiders, even right down to the electricity Bill we are threatened, but Churches and Banks still ask for (Our) money in any Disaster, and they make Zillions in Profit out of our transactions of any kind whatso ever. The Catholic Church also adopt the same Banking Methods by even having yes youve got it (Their own Papal Bank of Rome).thats why Ive mentioned the two faced standards of so called Christianity. all the best Glenn
All I can find regarding the amount that the Vatican itself has donated is 3 million euros. That was 8 days ago. Anyone have an update?
It was because of the hypocritical ways of the major religious organisations , Catholic , Anglican , Methodist , to name just a few that kept me away from churches for nearly forty years . I had seen drunken ministers rail against overindulgence when sober on a Sunday , men who preached the commandments who could not keep their flys zipped up with other women , It was when faced with life threatening Surgury that I found an independent Church where the pastor practices what he preaches . I still think purgatory and a few other practices are there to encourage. Donation for salvation . Here endeth today's lesson
