Nuclear Power.

Hi Shipmates, I dont want a new French nuclear power station, If they are like they cars. Hi rob Page I go with the Germans on the power probelm {new coal technology} wins my vote welsh coal please we need the jobs we have plenty of good welsh coal? Co2 emission? with the right technology i am sure the boffins can sort than out, whats is the life of toxic waste, from nuclear power station? I under stand this is not a easy fix? but the government is out of step, the cost is too high, when things go wrong see the news from Japan for a real life case, no fish in the sea could happen? We need a proper long term power plan not a short term one.

Offshore wind is twice New Nuclear and tidal power 3 x New Nuclear , so look at the costs of carbon free generation , and separate from fossil fuel generation which is 2/3 rds the cost of New Nuclear .
