I think we can all show restraint for the moment until at least a certain iron lady is laid to rest out of respect for her grieving family. But i am a great believer in freedom of speech and i hope we can have a discussion amongst ourselves as to the different thoughts and memories of the thatcher era without anyone falling out. It can be compared a bit like the channels which we all lived and experienced you cant explain it you had to live the experience. I certainly take your point on board there have been arrests only last night one a serving police officer him self. As is often the case with many world leaders controversy often follows them, even after death. There have been good and bad as is the case with all persons, and very often it is not until many years after their demise that the full effect, good or bad, are fully known. How an individual was effected by decissions made will counternance how they view that person. Some will only be interested in personal gain whilst others will see the bigger picture and understand the long term natonal good to, be gained from this. Very often the choice a leader has to make is goverend by the actions of previous leaders and are sometimes misjudged by their actions. Sadly much of it comes down to political preference, those who are rusted on to one side of politics or the other. those persons will never see the good unles done by the one they favour.
