maple syrup on pancakes is not too bad , but my conservative tastes just could not get maple syrup on bacon served in the US

i do like molasses, and t&l and maple syrup.i do agree though, the yanks have some peculiar eating habits. t&l syrup is good for sticking your peas on your knife.
