    Default Work for your pension

Watch out lads!!!, lord Bichard is calling for pensioners to work for your pension, doing voluntary work in the community etc. he is 65, and i suppose he considers sitting on his ar*** in the house of lords is his work toward his pension. Where do they get them from !!!! regards KT

There is always one with bright ideas. What he fails to take into account is that we have worked hard all our lives and paid National Insurance all our working lives. So what they are giving us we have already paid for. Is there no end to these clever rich b-st-rd- taking it out on the ones who cannot defend themselves. What an absolute load of ****.

My wife and I also care for one our grandchildren during the week and I am a volunteer official with the RNLI which keeps me busy as well. Now they want me to look after the elderly too, what next, I will tell you what next, seeing us off early thats what.

This person can claim an allowance of £300 per day for turning up and having a G&T in the bar. He has got to his feet and spoken 12 times this year but as we still have 2 months of the year left (I don't actually know when they rise for xmas, probably mid-november) this could go up. Since March 2010 he has turned up to vote on 79 occasions out of a possible 260 but it is a long walk from the members bar so perhaps he can be excused. Even I would get out of bed for community service like this.

    Regards
    Calvin

. Just wait until they legalise Euthanesia, Chris. we would have to do some ducking and diving then.
    Have a nice day.

Default Slaves are any age the new tory way?

Hi Shipmates, a Tory grandee who wants us to work for nothing, Maybe he wants us to be his slaves? or is he trying to say we must work till we drop? Can I have my old job back please? sorry but we were closed down and all the machines/goods were sold abroad { legal tax dodge by multi national} so today no work for me, How about a nice new cargo ship ? with an all british crew ? {history books} the other jobs are all taken by eastern europeans or illegals, Could be a M.P. have big empty pockets for the large back-handers and can take any amount of free money from tax payers to put in my many off shore accounts,{ but I like to sleep at nights} and dont cheat or steal off poor people !!!! { Well back to the dole q for me a hopeless case in todays job market} no jobs in the job centre?

The frightening thing is that the man is a cross bench member of the House of Lords, which means he has no affiliation to any political party, but I wonder why he toes the type of line the present government likes to hear. There is more to this than meets the eye methinks.

I think it is a bloody good idea and we should start organising ourselves to find the position that would suit older workers. As a suggestion for starters? Once becoming a pensioner we are given a position in a new house called the House of Old Lords. Then those that can make the sittings there are there to review all increases within the parlimentary system for all public service and parlimentary members. Hours could be set so that one would only have to attend one sitting a year as there would be so many pensioners available. I think something like this would see the idea shelved very soon but if not then we would be able to then award pensioners increases in pensions like that lot of parasites have done in the past and still do.
That's the way the mop flops.

My thanks to Brian for this site.
