Child Benefit.

Hi shipmates, As most of us dont have any young children who we could claim child benefit for ? Can I ask the the following in the U.K. we have the 14 lowest pension in the E.U. Why? The U.K. is one of the Big dozen countries who pay much more to the E,U. than we get out why? Mr D Cameron is trying to freeze our payment to the E.U. {lawful} we will still pay out £300 million more over a year, This is not an increase !!!! The E.U. wants us to pay more 5% to help the other countries Greece Spain Italy, Ireland and the eastern europeans who need a massive amount of money spent on them , No matter what our lords and masters tory or labour tell us , its al B.S. we have no say in this, We payed out last year to the E.U. £8.1 bn in one year can you work out How much extra 5% is thank you. Maths is not my strong point.

If we look strictly at the facts of "Benefits".
When the system was first started there was no mass immigration from over seas from people who had never contributed to the system.
The system was there to help our own people in their times of need, sickness and unemployment etc.
Now we have had several million people pouring into the country, Bliar opened the flood gates , 5,000,000 came in during New Labour, and we are swamped.
On top of that they are breeding and multiplying. No one dare stop it because you are then labelled a Rascist.
So we now have several millions now recieving the Benefits. The System was never designed for all that. so Genuine recipitents are now suffering for it.
I was in hospital a while ago in the Dispensary, A young English Lady was at the counter, she had four medications and was charged near £30, the man behind in Taliban clothing with his mate got a huge bag of medication, the woman behind the counter said "Are you Asylum Seeker?" his mate said `Yes`, The Woman then said "No charge".
Now the young English lady was obviously a tax payer and a contributer to the System with her NI stamps.
Multiply that scen a million times a day across the country, just over the counter medication is costing the State Millions of pounds that have to be paid for by the tax payers.
Then the flood gates of Europe opens, millions have arrived from europe and they have to be paid Benefits and Child Allowances by European Law, The country just cannot cope with this immigration.
It is no use saying `I know an Immigrant who is working, ` there are a lot more Not working and getting every Benefit possible. It all has to be paid for by the people who work and pay taxes and the Stamp.
Only when we can get rid of Europe and the european immigrants who are bleeding us to death, and all the other overseas Immigrants, can the Benefit system and the NHS survive,
What is done is done, no use saying things about Maggie Thatcher she went many years ago, Labour had 13 years to bring the country to its knees, so nothing changes on the Political scene.
There are just too many people on the system and it just cannot operate and do what it was originally intended to do.
I have just been in town here, I try not to, but I needed to go to the bank. I never heard a word of English spoken, I was a stranger in a foreign Land. The town centre was crowded with people of all shades, nationalities, and strange middle eastern clothing, like a scene from Baghdad.
Obviously none of them workers and as a Tax Payer I feel that I am subsidising them.
That is our England that people fought and died for to keep out the foreign invaders, They all died for nothing.

Brian that's why we should dump the EU that's why the government will not want a referendum we are carrying to much dead weight any mp with an once of sense should see what we are seeing this land is no longer worth fighting for until we are back to being on our own again we are scared of the middle east getting nuclear weapons so we need land near to them to kill each other? what if in years to come the EU went to war against the USA who's side would we take a side who has stood by us or a few that are hangers on granted people of Europe have stood with us but not all the most powerful is Germany they seem to have all the say? it might have been better if we lost the war Hitler wanted a united Europe he should have waited a few years we have cocked it up ourselves?just my view.jp

Why is it we the underclass can see what is going on yet those in power cant???? Or don't want to your right it has been all governments over the last 40yrs. The difference was back in the 70s and 80s the black economy pulled us out of the same mess, There is no black economy this time. I am glad you mentioned the two world wars we and our allies won i would have done but thought i had dreamt it ? Yes the land of Milk and Honey has been milked dry by to much of what you mention. Hi shipmates, the Benifits that we payed out so far are just a drop in the Bucket, we are set for a massive wave of E.U. members in the next two years, This government are complete powerless to stop this happening, So the tens of thousands sound bite is just B.S. as we are part of the E.U and the free flow of members is in the charter that The Hon Mr Edward Heath put his name on many years ago .There is nothing stopping any one in the U.K. from working or looking for work in any member country, The boarder agency cant send one back not even if convicted criminal, They can only send back illegals after a long legal process which has cost us many millions in the past. The only way to stop the rot is to leave the E.U. as soon as possible ????but this will never happen {Big business and the farmers and many others } wont jump off the gravy train.

The next lot to come in in 2014 is the Bulgarians and the Rumanians. from the Ist January they will have free access to all our State Benefits and housing.
It is our country, The Nation does Not belong to a handful; of Politicos. it belongs to us and these Gangsters will not allow us to vote to get out.
WHERE is our Democracy??? We have bombed other countries to try to make them Democratic, I am still waiting for someone to bomb Britain to bring us Democracy,.
Clegg the `Deputy PM ` said today we will be in a FEDERAL EUROPE in 2020, that is only Nine years away. No one asked us, the people of this once great nation.
So instead of being British we will be Johnny Foreigner and my old Dad, Uncles , Grandad and Great Grandad ad fin, went to war with the Europeans for Nothing. Germany has won at last without a shot being fired.
In the Brussels Parliament, is a map, Britain is shown only as a province of a europe not a country.

It was good to see Camerons authority suffering a massive blow in Parliament last night when he suffered a humiliating defeat in the Commons over Europe but that vote counts for nothing.More than 50 Tory MP's joined Labour to vote for an EU budget cut,The vote was not binding so will not dictate what the PM does at the Brussels negotiating table.What it will do as far as I am concerned will make him realise that the people of the UK have had enough of Europe and the amount of money that we are ploughing in.Maybe this could be a wake up call!!!.

And the reason the defeat means nothing is because you cannot get a cut in our contribution. Out of 27 countries 17 have got their hands out so will not accept a cut. These countries have also got a veto so they just use it and the budget goes through on the nod plus inflation. The only thing up for negotiation for Cameron is to keep the status quo and not accept an inflation busting increase which is what other parts of Europe are looking for. For the opposition and rebel tories to call for cuts which cannot be achieved is pure mischief making and does nothing except make us look divided and actually weakens any vestige of negotiating power we might have. Personally,I think the Germans also are against any increase but knowing Britain will oppose any increase are happy to sit back and portray us as the baddies.

I often wonder if a politician has ever had a job description. I would like to believe that it was to look after the welfare and betterment of the people of that country only. To this end I see no reason why they should ever leave the shores of their country to go on expensive junkets abroad, unless they are the specific minister allotted to that job. They certainly do not have the God giving right to expose the forces of that country to others outside their realm of agreement. Their job should only be to defend their own borders and restrict as necessary undesirables into their community. I have yet to see any government do the job correctly i.e. what the electors put them in for. I am a strong believer that a countrys borders are sacred and should be protected this they have failed to do miserably in all partys since the war. I have no doubt that those elderly ex servicemen who are slowly dying off and will soon be extinct must wonder why they ever fought so hard for King and Country, as they must surely be bewildered by the present state of the world. Totally due to bad management by our so called elected politicians. It is about time they should have a job description, saying what they could or cant do without the will of the majority. As I see it the UK is stuck with the status quo. The only hope is to get out of the EU, but thta may be easier said than done no matter which gov is in power. Blair had 13 years to make changes but did nothing and the nation is worse off for that. The only slight saving grace is being an island and not part of the great conglomorate of Europe. The main problem is so mnay poor nations, Romania comes to mind, arre joining up. The concept of a levcel playing field will only occur when all countries are of equal economic level. That may take generations to achieve so your grand children and their children may have to continue the suffereing of inequality such as you have now.

But the EU trough is wide and deep with so mnay on the EU gravy train, advisors to the gov that will do anything to stay in the trough. You must remember that most of the decissions made by any gov are on the advice of those faceless men in beige cardigans who spend all day shuffling paper in the hallows of parliament and Brussels. That is where the problem lies, they do the advising to PM and gov, get rid of them and you may stand a chance.

But here in Oz we well may have a revolution on our hands. In the Northern Territory one of the MP's an Aboriginal, has said thta all the Aboriginals up there should take the first job offered and not expect to live on hand outs. Waiting for the proverbial to hit the fan.
