Could not agree with you more Brian, lets get out of this bloody rats nest called Europe as soon as we can, hopefully when the next general election comes UkIP can make substantial gains at least, then we can start to trim back some of this madness from Brussels. No I don't pay National Insurance on my Pension, but I do pay Income Tax on it and VAT on my purchases, Oh and yes I also pay Income Tax on the small amount of savings I have, savings which I have already paid income tax on, when I earned them.

We cannot even deport known terrorists in case it upsets the Court of Human Rights,
We need a Strong man to take over and with only our interests. We stopped eUROPE from being a German Dictatorship now we have given all that away and now we suffer under a eUUROPEAN Dictatorship.

Sorry John, but if you live in an other country I still don't think that you should get any benefit from any allowances that UK residents get. Either you live in the UK and get what you are entitled to or you don't and you don't get UK entitlements.
My understanding that France , Germany , Holland , Belgium are all on double our pension , I have never taken a bus since I got the pass , and double my pension , I'll give up the heating allowance straight away
I have a brother in law who lives in OZ, has taken Oz citizenship, and can still vote on our elections, and complains that the postal vote is often late !!!!!!!, WTF is going on, are we all going daft in this country KT
Chris , if you check via internet all the things British citizens ( but not British residents ) are allowed , it will make your eyes water.
And all courtesy of our friends in Brussels and thankfully not of your mindset.
Just appreciate that I am every bit as entitled ( I should say "eligable ") to my 66% UK state pension as you are to your 100%.

On One hand John Cassels says that the money that we paid in was for the pensioners of the day and on the other hand he says he is entitled to the pension for what he paid in,which is it !!!!!

John I never said I denied you your UK OAP, you paid into it so you deserve it, but you should forfeit everything else. Its all the other allowances and so called rights that I object paying for through my taxes, paying for people who dont live in the country, how can that be right. All those ex pats sitting round their swimming pools in the sun and getting a blo-dy heating allowance, what a farce.
