is a lot of people that think America is the land of milk and honey but really there is many parts that could compare with a third world people living on the streets through no fault of their own? illness medical bills could wipe your way of life out in an instant many who had good house and standard of living could be taken away and put you in debt for life i am happy here and i did have the chance many years ago to live far away from home but never took it and looking back i made the right choice to stay?jp

And allowed the unskilled labour market to be taken over by immigrant,s. I think you are wearing blinker,s to be honest if you cant see what is in store for the next generation you weren't left a legacy that our youngsters will never be left because by your own admission you had a working life as i did and all the pluses N.H.S. ETC.......... In your post, These will slowly if allowed be demolished over the next ten years or so. This is a lost generation there are young kids coming out of education taking up different skills and vocations it stands for nothing yes i agree what will be will be and it doesn't bare thinking or worrying about what these grand kids of ours will have to go through because we cant change it. We cant as much as i would like to turn back the clock 40yrs. But don't be distracted from the fact that this country has gone down the tubes. And fed a lot of industries that have disappeared or are taken over by cheap labour from Eastern Europe. Like it or not that is a fact in modern day Britain. I will finish on one very important point. We are about to host the Olympics brilliant we have hosted World cups {Football} {Olympics} Any sport you can mention under the sun. We have 3,000 troops that will have there P45 in there **** pocket redundant after the games we will have Sam's posted on residential rooftops we are told this evening there will be 2 Chinook helicopters flying over the Olympic stadium. Why Britain ? Because consecutive governments not joe public have got involved in to many meaningless conflicts wearing a Union Jack on there shoulder for all to see. Those same politician's want to realise what they have done for Great Britain. {Knocked the hell out of it} Not the British people. Regards Terry. Just to add to your woe,s the coalition is planning on scrapping most public building,s the public have access to, to at least speak face to face and sort a problem out. All public sector workers working in tax officer,s Social Security officer,s and anywhere else your can have a toe to toe with them in authority. We have let this all happen because we are the ones over the years that have got the politicians that we deserve through complacency and so wrapped up in our own little world. So in a way all the whingeing about todays hardships can be firmly placed at our door. Just take a step back and have a good look at what we have done. Ended up with just two main political parties that it takes a lot to compare one from the other and elections are a joke now as the only change is the fecking name of the party. I just hope (as I have said often enough before) that the next generation have a lot more balls than ours did. It is no wonder that so called refugee's are swarming in to our country's because they are after a bit of the pie before it finally gets eaten up.
