After reading some very interesting post on this subject some are correct in what they are saying .Whether they hold the games and the question of terrorists is getting a bit mixed up .It is one of the best things of our democracy that we can say these things .In some of the other countrys you could be shot or just disappear,so lets get on with life .But keep these discussions going on

But by holding the games and not allowing the terrorists to take control is the best way there is of saying to them we are not afraid of you.
Holding them in a Moslem country would be a good idea but which of them could afford it? Maybe some of the middle eastern states such as Dubai, but they would have even mor security than UK.

Athens Olympics permanent makes sense. Giving in to terrorism does not. Two world wars which we Brits are supposed to have won only weakened the nation and the Commonwealth. Looks like a United Europe as a concept is stuffed. There is so much gripping and bad news on this site designed originally as a forum for memories of the good old days I think I will give it the flick. Sorry lads see ya later Neil.

Well John the Shabeen in Cape Town takes some beating, as does the stuff they served up in the 'Tiki hoc' bar outside the station. I look back now and wonder which horse it came from?
