Default What do all hands think of Sex Education for kids in school??

Last night all the family went to a Restaurant in Manchester, I asked ten year old Matty, grandson, `What have you learned at school this week?`
He Replied, ` We have been watching Porno Videos today.`
Everyone stopped eating and looked at him. `It was funny ` he said, he was laughing, ` A man and a woman with no clothes on, were tickling each other with feathers then they got into bed and he was bouncing on top of the lady. That is how they make babies you know. We asked the Teacher does she do that` She said she had two children ` So someone said, have you only done twice then. but she didnt answer. `
Then Matty cupped his hands and put them on his chest where a ladies breasts would be. and said I know what these two are called on ladies`, I said `What`, He then says , `Vaginas`. we all fell over laughing.
His Mum said ` I think you are about two feet too high.
So do you think this Sex education thing is really necessary for kids of that age?. The only thing he is interested in is Football, he plays for three different teams.
    Cheers
    Brian.

Just my opinion on that Capt,is that at that age i think that the Kids should be learning about other things more important that Sex!
I am sure they will have more than enough time to learn all about that a wee bit later in life@
    But thats just my opinion!

I thought it was great that he is learning even if he is getting the parts wrong but then that is part of the learning proccess. What makes me in favour of it is that the kids still only want to play games like they should but at the same time learning acceptance of what sex is about and can ask relevant questions plus see it for what it is. Not like the old ways we where raised in where it was shrouded in mystery and had to be found out with experimentation (though it was fun as well). I do believe that religion and victorian ideals are to blame for a lot of the sex crimes of today. Got me beat as to why anyone would try to hide what is really nature at work. At least when the kids become teenagers and start getting sexual urges they will realise what they are and be more open about it with each other. Last but not least it is one natural act that is bloody funny to watch as the boy pointed out.
That's the way the mop flops.

i remember watching the old 8mm films at school about rabbits etc. not very interesting until the teacher ran it backwards to rewind and we all laughed seeing the babies going back inside the mother. much prefered experimenting with the girls behind the bike shed or toilets.
i must admit i learned quite a lot from reading my dads first aid books issued to him in the fire service.

I c an remember as a very young kid, our ` gang` were taliking on the street corner, a girl doesnt get pregnant if you do `IT` standing up, If you want a baby girl you do`IT` once, if you want a baby boy you do `IT` twice.
It was many years later before i found out what `IT` was.
    Happy days

    Hi Brian.
When I was a kid I enjoyed my life, knew absolutley nothing about girls sex or whatever, of course did the hand spanner. But as for sex education for youngsters, take a look at what is happening to marriages, single parents, abandoned kids etc. and then look at people around our age at the number of people who did not have sex education but have been happily married for in my case 60 years, don't see that anymore, which says a lot for sex education at an early age.

As a young lad of about 8 we were living in what was known as a half way house, up on top of Shooters Hill Woolwich, waiting to be re-housed after the war. There were about 6 families there and one had a young daughter by the name of Quanita. At the back of the house were some playing fields and during that summer we spent a lot of time there. One day she asked me if I would like to play 'mummys and daddys' Not having a clue I agreed. Take all your clothes off she told me, which I did and before I knew it she was starkers and lying on the ground. Now get on top of me and bounce up and down she said. I did as I was told and thought this 'aint too bad. We played the game a couple of times more that summer. Since then I played mummys and daddys every time I got the opportunity. But shock horror about ten years later. Home on leave and mum tells me the lady in question along with her parents had moved into a house just along the road from us. Thankfully we never ever met again.

Des that is so true but remeber all those poor buggers that remained in a loveless marriage because of peer and/or religious pressure which they do not put up with today. Not to mention that information is more available today than it was in our day. Information about anything should not be withheld so that they can make informed decissions late on in life. I reckon that the generation coming along is going to have more intestinal fortitude than we or the generation that followed us ever had.

Today there are more pregnant girls and girls with babies than ever before. I never heard of a pregnant girl when I was at school, now it is normal.
Half the kids around here will never know who their Dad is.
The Birth Control is FREE, the Walk in Centre here issues free condoms and the Pill, no questions asked. We had to que up in a chemist shop, and if it was full and a lady assistant was serving, walk out with a new toothbrush or a bottle of Lucosade instead of the packet of Durex.
