Young girls in short shorts, what we used to call "hot pants" in the '70's can look smart even elegant on a good figure. However most of them are chubby, spotty, short arses; maybe the mothers' try to instruct them but these days all adult advice falls on stoney ground. That goes in familt too.:rolleyes:

What irritates me is when MPs go on about `Child Poverty`.
At PMs Question Time on TV at noon today they mentioned the words `Child Poverty` over twenty times.
Now these people obviously do not know what poverty is.
A Social Worker described to me what Child Poverty is......
If a child has not got a mobile phone, or an IPod, orComputer, or Wii, or anything another child has and they havent, then that is classed as Child Poverty......
Any child Poverty today is self inflicted by the parents if they smoke and drink, they have sufficient benifits to feed them well with three good meals a day and a warm home.
I remember poverty in the 1930s when I was a kid, we were living in Poverty, but we didnt know that we were living in Poverty as everyone was the same. We had no one to compare with, so we were happy.
There is a new word on the block lads and lasses. Introduce by our beloved Chancellor ( spit ) yesterday, its " DEBT-STORM ". It must be being promoted by the Coal-ition too, as our beloved Home Secretary of (do we believe what she says or don't we, fame) used it on today's news at one.
I have a new one for all politicians ' DRIVEL-DELUGE ', cos that's what seems to be coming from them at the moment and has been for some time.

When I was at sea I was very good at DRIVEL SPEAK had the bloods totaly confused. I wish I got the money for it that these lazy fat cats in parliament get. Our lot have just given themselves a substantial wage increase, and are ripping off the public sector workers to pay for it. The nurses and paramedics have asked for a less than annual inflation increase of 2.5% and got a big fat raspberry.Jesus wept!:mad:
Today it was announced that our extremely left wing Primeminister, well that is what she calls herself, hasd been awarded a pay rise of $90,000 bring her salary up to $490,000 per year, plus all the perks. That is more than either Cameron or Obama earn. One bright spark of a politician said here today that the general increase in politicians salary will bring a better type of person into the parliament. Well all I can say is it wil only bring in politicians with bigger snouts.
Just working away here and I've come across yet another extremely irritating expression that seems to be used more and more these days - learnings. Since when can learning be pluralized and used as a noun?? Perhaps it is more a North American thing, but irritating nonetheless.
