Bill as you will have noticed Gatx Oswego is not on the list of shipping companies on here,I just googled Gatx Oswego two sites to look at Ships Nostalgia and this site with some postings from a couple of years ago.You may recognise the posters.

I remember you I was the R/Off with Gatx for about 7 yrs
Think you lived near Bristol?
Other pumpmen I remember John O'Neill, Arthur Watts,
Happy days on the Gatx cruises !

Was it not one of the Gatx Oswego VLCC's that sailed from a major oil terminal in St. Croix? after discharging on its maiden voyage only to find that on commencing tank cleaning they had omitted to discharge one of its centre cargo tanks? I know it happened as I was on a product tanker loading at the terminal concerned and was told by the terminal manager as he had been racking his head trying to figure out how come he had a shortfall in the out turn figures from a VLCC of almost 30,000 tons.
