I thought I'd post in case you are interested and want to contact me about it.
    Hello David,
I would be interested in these plans. I have been researching the Newfoundland and Nova Scotia as part of a larger project and would love to see these plans if possible.
    Thank you

Did they get their bunks made in 3/class , did they take the sign down for the picture “ no peeing in the washbasin”. The Sunprincess the old liberty ship I was on they were all double berth cabins but all had a bathroom. One paid for the bunk US $100 a day. If wanted solitude you paid $200 a day and that was 1966/67. Cheers JS

    Hi John.
Was that so you could pee in peace, or for other things of a more intimate pleasure.

#14 We had one trip an old retired Dr. or GP he paid the two hundred $US a day and on leaving the ship in Montreal 6 weeks later gave the stewardess a $500 tip , puts the FBI tip to shame. How do I know ? the other stewardess who looked after my well being told me on the private. If she thought my name was Rothchild or not dont know , the only tip she got from me was beware of American men being charming as found out later she was pregnant by one a few thousand miles away. She finished up marrying the 3 mate I was told at a later date. Cheers JS….

At least you didn't abandon them ashore like the cruise ship off a tiny island off the East African coast.

#16 We never left a passenger behind , I was Choff and responsible for checking and at least once which have posted on finished up going ashore to the local brothel to pull out.
Unlike the over carriage of mail which the 2 mate was responsible for and was a sackable offence. JS.

Des #16, saw that bit on the news, bit of a mystery.
If what the bloods said was true then the company has some answers to find.

One blood said they attempted to contact the ship and were told it would not accept their call!!!!!!!
    Happy daze John in Oz.

    John.
I was a Norwegian cruise liner, the people involved I think went on an unofficial tour but where held up returning, their guide rang the ship but they said they where going to sail on time and if they where not there the ship would sail without them, they got to the wharf to see it sailing away.
Reminds me of the British Builder in Durban, that what the Captian said in his message to us in the pub, but we knew he couldn't sail with half the crew adrift, Three days later.
