I always believed you could never work your way course by course through the first class menu on the pendennis castle until departing Cape Town dinner menu heading up the coast to Durban the winger on the table behind stopped to speak to have steward and he had a table of 8 Young South African men who will working their way completely through the menu course by course he said to the officers steward at our table , any more of the South African gentleman working their way through the menu I am going to see the head waiter and swap my tray for a wheelbarrow

Some of the menus I have are from last night so have on the back all the voyage info.

AS to silver from the Windsor I doubt there will be much of that.
However if you go to any Las Palmas hotel I am sure there will be some to be see.
But any deep sea diver could make a fortune if he picked it all up from the sea bed.

Was it normal for the waiters to collect menu's ?

There would be loads of them and near value less
    if there are to many.

Eat, in my opinion they discovered a new meaning to the word eat.
But not just eat, they could have set new world speed records for devouring so many courses in such short time.

I did not think it was possible to consume so much at one time, how wrong can you be?
