Re: MV Accra 1937 - 1939
David
I would suggest if you really want Plans for the Ship to possibly contact the Liverpool Maratime Museum, these plans would of course cost , more Money LOL
Cheers
Archive sheet 32 - Ship plans collections | National Museums Liverpool (liverpoolmuseums.org.uk)
Likewise David they more than likely would have passenger lists for what you want ?? But not sure, so Email them and ask.
Search | National Museums Liverpool (liverpoolmuseums.org.uk)
Crew lists for 1937 is held at The Archival Section of Canadian University, however again you should contact then for confirmation, with details you want Year etc. Contact to Mrs Tanya MacDonald Chief Archievist there.
Crew List Index Search Results (mun.ca)
Other Years are also available for Crew lists if you want them

#8... Ivan a lot dont know your dislike of calling ships ..boats. The only thing they have in common is a boat usually has 2 plug holes , whereas a ship has many. Cheers JS

Whoops sorry, did I transgress rule 5 or 6, I know it wasn't 4, as that has to do with quizzes. Are we losing our sense of humour on this site, is lockdown affecting our humour gene. Our land bretheren can only understand our terms if we inject a bit of humour into them, as I feel sure they don't want classroom lessons. I have made an appointment with my doctor to have a blood transfusion to remove my humour gene.

Ivan What you deem a joke or whatever may seem harmless to you, but remember that there are those that were possibly not in the Merc and would have no idea as to wether one cracks a joke or not!
This also can deter Members from returning to see what is happening, so i was merely saying that one should think before posting ! As ex Seaman yes we can take and know when its meant in a good or sarcastic way ???? Rule 26 of the Riot act of 1484 LOL
End of !
Cheers

Re: MV Accra 1937 - 1939
Sorry if I offended by calling a ship a boat. Unforgivable I now realise.

Really, really sorry guys. I am not upset by Ivan's comments and am very grateful for the help you have given me in terms of where to look. I am not familiar with researching passenger ship journeys and so it is all a lot of trial (and very much) error at moment.
