Is there anyone out there, who may have been on the ship, either the Accra,or Apapa.
During the early fifties, from which the young Quartermaster,H.O.Jones .disappeared.
I recall reading of the event, whilst on leave, round that time. The coroners report that is.
Apparently, He was sleeping on deck ,previous to going on watch at midnight. Not to be found, when called for his watch.
My interest being ,that we were in the same Group at T.S. Vindicatrix,'48 into '49 and I occasionaly wonder why?
