Metric from imperial is simple in distance, one kilometer is five furlongs.
One liter is 2.2 pints 25 millimeters is one inch,
Then on some cars the speedo has both miles per hour and kilometers as well, all on the one dial just to confuse the driver.
Had one hire car in Ireland a few years ago like that, very confusing at times.
But as at that time many sign posts were in both it just made it worse as speed limits were not.

Your litre is in USA pint John, UK pint is different 1 lire =1.75 pint.

I admire the yanks for continuing with the imperial system if they still are ? As watching the UK s results of the seemingly diminishing brain power in mental arithmetic displayed by the youth of today must blame something and put it down to them not having enough work in their mental make up and always looking to get out of any work, be it mental or actual labour. I think decimalisation was just one big con.the only productivity was the making of more millionaires. JS
