good day, thats more or less how i have gained what shekels or groats or pieces of eight i have had in my hands over the last fifty odd years, by playing monopoly buying one get a mortgage buy another mortgage etc etc thats one of the reasons i have owned and sold so many properties over the years,, even when the interest rates where at fifteen per cent because of the european union exchange mechanism, and the crash when we left it, But today we have some on here whom know better and obviously study the markets like dog racing, but what they dont know when they are espousing their financial advice is that this country is bankrupt, and it was brought about by the collapse of the banks through the prime mortgage scam from america, whereby the financial loan markets where giving mortgages to anybody earning more than a dime or less in some cases and especially in the case of minorities. once the finance companies sold off millions of mortgages they then sold them to pension funds whom then sold them to banks here in the uk and many parts of the world, enter into the fold prime minister gordon brown whom bailed out the banks, ( if as a socialist why didnt he give to every household with a mortgage the amount they owed to the banks, for them to pay off their existing loan ) that would have saved the banks, and the mortgage free household could have then rejuvenated the economy by having money in their pockets to spend. Everybody a winner, Since then the chineese pandemic has destroyed whatever was left in the coffers, and we are borrowing trillions to finace this country and thousands of illegal and legal immigrants sucking the tit for what is left, Now we face the fact that these idiots in charge have gone all out for net zero it was only a matter of time before the cracks or the seams started to open wider and the sea rushes in, The power house of europe in the mean time germany is months away from a possible financial collapse with europe to follow and the repercussions for the rest of us is dire, and we now go back to the financial bemoths on this site with their heads buried in liberal left doga telling us we dont know whats coming.

What a diatribe of complete tosh (#54).
Don’t think you went out with many nurses Louis , in nurses language the word is tish . Tosh can be a word of endearment in certain parts, e.g. how you doing tosh. Stand by for a thank you from the recipient . JS
Tosh - nonsense. Tush - something very different in USA.
My two brother in laws owned their own homes in Essex Keith and that's what gave us the ambition to buy our own, I admired my uncle Bill for his achievement, he was born
about 1905, when he left school he got a job at the corner shop that was about 250 yards from my Granddads house, he stayed there and learned the trade and when the shop
owner retired he let him buy the shop for a fair price, {Fast Forward many years} I firs went in the shop when I was about 12, I don't know if he expanded the shop himself but it
was two shops knocked into one and the two flats above were also knocked into one, it was a pretty large shop, it was a grocery/hardware and Post Office, my sister and Aunt worked
behind the counter. when my Grand parents died he sold up and moved to Rye, a lovely town in Sussex, he was a smashing man, and very old fashioned in his ways, a real Gentleman.
Cheers John Collier
#57 Tush is an American expression for a certain part of the females anatomy. The same as all us Johns are a toilet . Never been offered a penny however. If you ever worked with the Americans in the. North Sea you would also know a booeee is a buoy. And if you really wanted to emulate an American oilworker you would have Red Wings on your feet . JS
We must get rid of the present morons occupying numbers 10 and 11 Downing Street.
Between them in the short time they have been in office they have more or less ruined the country.
The Bank of England has had to buy 65 billion pounds of their government debt to save the economy and Private Pensions.
