Re: The Bid for Leadership Race....
Hi John.
Just my opinion, but I think Albanese should sack the Governor General before he sacks Albanese, he must have been biased to have done it in secret, Just like the Cur did to Whitlam. I think Morrison wanted to play God, instead he played the Devil, didn't even tell his Cabinet what he was doing, that is why he went to Japan and signed that Aucus agreement without Govt approval. If they get an Integrity Commision up and running h should be the first to front up, for a logging or a flogging.

Re: The Bid for Leadership Race....
Top constitutional lawyer has said nothing to see here, kit was done during a time of emergency and perfectly in order.
Health minister and treasurer knew but none of the others.
Gov Gen knew and swore him in, in good order,.
Here in Vic during the pandemic our dictator of a state premier took it all on himself even side lining the state health officer.
Ordered a company who operated car parks to guard the hotels.
When a pubic enquiry was held into the details he became 'Schultzs' ,I know nothing.
No word from Albesleasy on that one!!

I see the removal truck has been spotted outside Number 10.
Is Boris going, or some one coming?

Re: The Bid for Leadership Race....
When you put any thought into the actions of what the past PM of Oz is being accused of , a lot of people will think he is just performing what other State Presidents Do in any case, the likes of Russia , The USA , China. Where they have the authority to do as they please in any case. There is nothing to choose between any of them. JS
Re: The Bid for Leadership Race....
Thought I had put this just up before but either forgot to push the send button or someone has waved their magic wand. “ As regards the PMs leaving office, I had the dubious thoughts of being the last to receive correspondence before Maggie left office in December 1990 and getting into her limousine “ , to be the holder of the dubious honour of being the last official businesss she did one might think it would be worth something to someone , however I have the letter hanging on the wall of my office and up to now have had no offers, so may prove Pollies are two a penny when they vacate their place of business. Wrong John.
The Governor General said he thought Morrison would tell the Parliament, but he knew that he didn't for his first foray twelve months before. As a top Constitutional lawyer said, he thought he was God, and untouchable.

There was a well known saying at sea “ you were only as good as your last job “ the same apparently applies to politicians” . JS
