Ah Louis, I was comparing the Democratic process used by both parties, nothing else.
If I remember correctly Blair didn't walk he was pushed.

Once again,I cannot fail to notice how blatantly left wing the Biased British Broadcasting Corporation is !
When reporting their Lunchtime News they said how the Debate ended in 'acrimonious in-fighting' .What?! When?! I can assure you dear reader I watched and digested every second of the debate and at no time were voices raised above normal, even disdainful looks were at a premium, and certainly no punches or handbags raised in threat! Au contraire, it was Penny this,Rishi that ,please ,tell me,Liz ...the best of friends ,you would be forgiven for thinking.
I have heard more 'acrimonious infighting' from primary school children in class when little Tarquin pulls Perdita's pigtails, and their friends rally round on both sides...
Scrap the BBC's obscene, insidious £159 per annum licence fee-for lying ,as usual !
It worries me that the remaining candidates are all more interested in themselves than the country. Sadly the Tory MPs seem to have chosen to stick to their old pals act and look to "known" names. From watching the debates the best of the candidates have already been ruled out of the equasion!
What's the big deal about lying? We had Trump for four years and he lied like a pig in crap and is still doing it with his gullible base. Continuing to say the election was stolen from him and that he won. And should he win the nomination of the Republican party as their candidate for president he will continue to lie. He did it while he was a supposed businessman (The only owner of a gambling casino that had to declare bankruptcy). He also went broke and stuffed his employees and investors in his Trump Airlines. etc. etc.. Then he had a book ghost written about how he pulled off deals and all of America outside of New York, Connecticut, and New Jersey (They knew him) thought him the great businessman. Your liar-in-Chief is a beginner for what I am reading, "The Donald" would take him on and teach him the ropes. Then you could really have something to whinge about....Like me! Rodney
Like it Rodney lol, the big problem is finding one that does not lie. You probably did not see the first debate with a public audience, and they were asked "who trusts politicians", not one person put their hands up.
Gone are the days when an Englishman’s word was his bond , for starters there are barely any Englishmen left. Moral ethics have been a vanishing commodity for a number of years now. JS
#120 I have a great nephew Rodney who is an American citizen , and then and now he thinks Trump was the bees knees and thought the sun shone where it shouldn’t. He was very outspoken about it when over here a few years ago and was only in his teens then and attending a military academy . Today he is a member of the military and his views haven’t changed. I don’t take much notice of politics unless they adversely affect me. Yesterday I had the best news I have had for the past 20 years when I went to see my new accountant to put my paltry tax return in She did it last year and I paid $38. Previous for 17 years and being retired I have been paying about $3000 . Yesterday she said I had no tax bill. So for 17 years I have been paying tax worked out by incompetent people or in other words crooks . This will be the first time in 31 years where I have not paid tax and 20 years of that was as an
OAP on paltry pensions. The crooks of this world abound and to me they are predominant in Politics, the Media , and in my case shifty accountants. I can certainly say I have contributed to the life style of the polititions by my involuntary subscriptions to their dubious courses . Cheers JS
I am sure all of you who contribute and read the daily articles on site will agree with me that the race to become the next ringmaster of the Tory circus is very predictive and boring.
Where are the characters who can do a song and dance act? I have found the name of the comedian who wears a yellow mop on his head, it is Mick Fabricant (no relation to Mick Gove) just a coincidence. Why isn't he in the race?
Another act I liked to watch was Chris Grayling, his decision to award a ferry contract to a company without a ferry or rowing boat to their name was pure genius, don't make them like that anymore.
So as not to appear as sexist I will add Nadine Dories to the bill, she is good turn who would go down well in the red wall working men's clubs. Rumour has it Boris the Clown will make her a Dame which will be a great help for her performance in pantomime season.
Ah louis, you always have to very careful when throwing stones lol, the women Annalies dodds looks like something out on the beach, in the punch a Judy box, and you must have heard of Diane Abbot, te he he,
To me this bidding for leadership is a complete waste of time. It reminds me of going to a car boot sale and picking out the best out of a drawer of thrown away articles.
