#6 The Australian government even stationed offshore vessels with immigration officials on board if they didn’t fulfil the requirements they were towed back to mainly Sri Lanka where most started from, other vessels towed them back , they never set foot on Australian soil unless they were legal. Re: Life in the sunshine
I have often wondered why the Tory party attracts so many crooks, liars, perverts and eccentrics.
A Tory MP has just been found guilty of molesting small boys. Another kicked out for making a fortune out of the Covid crisis even though the Clown defended him and tried to keep him in his job. The not so Priti Patel whose parents were forced out of Uganda announced the brilliant proposal to send immigrants on a one way ticket to Rwanda. The British taxpayers are expected to foot the bill for this lunacy which could run into billions of pounds without consulting them.
While I am at it there is a Tory MP who sits in Parliament with a bright yellow mop on his head, unbelievable but true.

Re: Life in the sunshine
Louis, i owe no allegiance to any political party, but if you are singling out Tory party MPs crimes and dodgy behaviour, i think you have been turning a blind eye to behaviour of other MPs , there is bad eggs among most of them. Maybe you just expect them all to be pristine white, in which case you will spend the rest of your life being disappointed.

Re: Life in the sunshine
At least 55 Labour MPs, Councillors and Mayors have been arrested, charged, suspended, or placed under investigation in the past 6 months.

Re: Life in the sunshine
Vic, remember when to be a councillor one was honoured and only too pleased to do the community work . Out of pocket expenses was the only money involved. I never really heard any complaints. Then salary’s were brought in , must have been about the time of that well known song “ Money is the Root of all Evil” , hitting the charts. JS.
