#30 let’s hope in the distant future Tony , that whichever government is in , that they carry on with the good work and deport all ilegal immigrants . So easy to do , and cuts out all the waffling about human rights. JS

Re: Masks (Covid)
Hi Ted.
Glad to see you back posting, it must have been a terrible time for your family.
Thanks for that post, it's the first time that I have seen a comprehensive write up about what happens when you get it, all they write about in the press is the sensational things. Knowing what to expect gives one a chance to do something to combat it even in small ways like you said keep a botte of water with you at all times.
I think that the spread of this new variant might not always be in breathing, it is exploding out here, so I suspect it is being also spread by touch, think of money, goods etc going from hand to hand, and many don't wash their hands on a regular basis. In the early days of Covid the NZ Govt thought that it had ben transferred from Aus by meat that arrived there, went quiet on that, maybe not to interfere with trade.
Good luck Ted, hope you are well clear now.

Re: Masks (Covid)
Terry, good to see you back in the land of the living again.
My brother said similar to you about the symptoms and how he coped.
But reading it a lot reminded me of how I felt with a king size hangover, you sure it was the Virus? LOL
But however you are fine and we trust all the family as well.
Numbers today from NSW include RAT tests for the last 7 days. bit misleading.
Happy daze John in Oz.
Life is too short to blend in.

Re: Masks (Covid)
The week long benders you used to go on John, I always said were too long , 6 days should be long enough for any man., especially when drinking Cape Brandy , better known as ginger squares . JS

Re: Masks (Covid)
Welcome back Ted. I don't know how I managed it, but I missed your post and I managed to place a post right following on to yours too. The way you describe it, it's hell on earth. Glad you're OK now.

Attention Doc.
lately whenever I post and submit , I get the following message on a full screen.
You don't have permission to access this resource
Yet I click on New Posts and my post has been accepted and posted correctly. It doesn't happen on Gmail. It doesn't happen when I message or Whatsapp on my cell phone, just on my desktop when posting to Friend's.

Re: Masks (Covid)
I have been getting the same message Rodney, which causes a double entry on the message.

Re: Masks (Covid)
That does happen i know (Reason ???) i too get that at times, but i have found that if you just leave the submission (Dont try Submitting again) and refresh your Screen the Post will have been posted (As you have said Rodney) Otherwise if you do try and Submit twice that is why you get a double entry! KT

Re: Masks (Covid)
Been having the same trouble but not often, realised that if I pressed again I had a double entry one time only it didn't enter, so had to do it again, but as Vernon said just an occasional glitch.
