    Default Franconia 1963-64

Would like to hear from anyone who sailed on the Franconia 1963-64 and remembers Eddie Doherty (CPO Elec).

    Default Franconia/Carmainia

Hi Paul Isailed on the Carmainia, from March63 to July63, I joined her in Glasgow, 4 coach loads of us went from So'ton to Glasgow, 14 hour journey, just to bring her back to So'ton, where the full crew joined her, nice ships good pig and whistle, beer was a shilling a pint, wonderful. we often used to pass you at verious tmes and places, wonderful going up to Qubec, first trip with all the fire boats blasting water and sirens going
best wishes R731651 ex EDH Darrell Kellett. (lofty).
