if I remember rightly there were three queens in the Mersey at the same time when it was Cunard's 150th anniversary a couple of years ago, but I have been wrong before !!

I remember seeing 3 queens on the Mersey, Ivan, it was for their 175th anniversary. I suspect that photo is from that day but one of them is hidden by the 3 Graces. good old google, that was 2015.
So those 3 Queens at that time would have been Mary, Elizabeth and Victoria.
Last year the Queen Mary2 & and the Queen Anne were alongside at different times as part of there cruise itininerary.

She is due to Dry Dock in May 2025 there is no mention on the Cunard site she is forsale or has been sold. Below is her itineary for as far as 2028.
A lot of these companies , do they not have each ship registered as a stand alone company? Reason being if one ship has a serious mishap it cannot take the rest of the fleet with it in compensation claims?

Yes that was/is common practice but the introduction of the international safety management code in 93 has gone part way to making management of vessels, irrespective of individual ownership of vessels under their management more responsible. The driving force behind the code was the maritime insurance companies, hull and p+I.
