The rat must have smelt the rum on his lips Cappy and wanted some of the same. Just think how lucky it was India and not Australia and wasn’t a kangaroo , or even worse a crocodile . Or even in Durham and a Hood Haggie girl just finishing her shift. Cheers JS

    Cappy ,
I once called a bloke for his watch and his mouth was covered in cockroaches, they were eating the gin off his lips, left some small scaring. Wouldn't happen now everyone wears a mask.

Sailed with an engineer once who got a Cocky in his ear when asleep , that sounds bad ? But was a real life cockroach and when he woke up he was going demented with it moving around , managed to get it out with pouring olive oil in his ear. Did ask him if he preferred diesel or olive oil he plumped for olive oil . No accounting for anyone’s tastes . JS.

Opened a wardrobe in an officers cabin after hearing some odd noises.
There sitting on the shelf staring at me with some of the biggest eyes I have ever seen was a 'Bush Baby'.
Native of Africa and very cute but not what you want to see first thing when you have a hang over.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

To try and get back on Track and not with Rats !

It is actually going to now happen John, the Cruise Industry is finally on Board for the start of the new Cruising Season! Happy Daze for John in Oz!! LOL

To our valued Clean Cruising community,

This week's newsletter was delayed from yesterday as we have a few hot campaigns starting today which we wanted to include for you. Thanks for your understanding.

The cruise industry continues its preparations to resume operations around the country. Last week both the Brisbane cruise terminal and the Overseas Passenger Terminal in Sydney conducted dry runs designed to test out their staff and facilities so they’re ship-shape and ready. Tomorrow some of our team will join a small group of travel agents, suppliers and P&O staff for a 3-night “activation” cruise to similarly prepare the baggage handlers, health and border officials as well as all the friendly crew who can’t wait to welcome back guests.

Next Tuesday, the first passengers depart Sydney on P&O’s Pacific Explorer and will call into Brisbane on Thursday 2 June to officially open the world-class complex. Other coastal towns are getting ready to welcome ships including Eden, Airlie Beach, Cairns, Darwin, Broome and more in the next few months.

Cruise lines are ramping up their sales campaigns too and there are going to be some great deals coming through today and next week. P&O’s Welcome Home Sale kicks off today as well as Royal Caribbean’s bonus onboard credit Wow Sale. See below for more details.

    Stay safe,
    Dan Russell,
General Manager & Director - Clean Cruising

And Wow! just take a look around at all the offers , but Boy! most of them already Booked out! Aussies have been dying for this escape! LOL

I have been told that per capita we are the largest cruise group across the globe.
Very popular form of holiday for so many.
