Not the best way to start your cruise, but i think this is the future for a long time yet. This one of Portsmouth, not a usual port for cruises i think, kt

I think you're right with your ' this is the future for a long time yet',Keith. That's the thing though, people are determined to get away at any cost(and many are finding that it is a huge cost too !). I am certainly not ready to join a cruise ship or a crowded airport or aircraft yet,and probably never will.I Will,if things quieten down, just go off and do my own thing as usual....and enjoy it!Sunbathe.gif

Here in Oz Royal Caribbean have one leaving from Sydney rom December 19th onwards, Princess on same date from Melbourne.

    Will they sail?
We wait for a decision from federal tourist minister on September 17th.

    Maybe, may be not!
    Happy daze John in Oz.

Just like going back to the old days for seamen Keith, no vaccination no ship. I’ve even had vaccinations I didn’t need like one for Typhoid , had it to relieve someone paying off in Indonesia with it, and then was cancelled as was too expensive to get the immigration out on a Sunday , so I received an unrequired one plus a sore arm for nothing. Cheers JS.

I still have a book used at the Vindi to show what vacs you had.
Still in use with the Virus ones the latest addition.

A number of companies now such as QUANTAS, SPC, Woolworths and some other food companies and many who are in face to face contact with the public, along with all essential services including aged care, are making it compulsory.
Legal guys say this is OK.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

Those were the days , i got some Vacs as well when at Sea , also in the Legion and the RAF. Some of the shots we got were bleedin terrible! The Needles were so large too , the one i recall the most was the one in the RAF before awaiting Shipment to Aden, in the rear of the Shoulder Blade! Gosh that was sore! Quite a few Lads in line just passed out after having theirs!
    Cheers
