Fouro can’t remember now whether it was the Venus or the Jupiter we went back to Bergen on with some Norwegian friends we had over staying with us . The cabin the wife and I had mist have been right next to thechain locker as could here it rattling all night as was a bad crossing . Think I was the only one up for breakfast.
Was not impressed at the time as to passenger ships and think then they used to change the name to the Black Prince for summer cruises to the Canaries. However arriving Bergen we drove way up North to Flora where our friends lived , was a great holiday. The shipping side of it was definetley not the best part of it. Cheers JS

Mention of the 'bin men' you have to see what comes off to fully understand how it all works.
On cruise ships now they have a crew dedicated just to rubbish sorting and bagging up.
When they dock the first off is all the packaged rubbish comes off.
In the rubbish system they have a compactor for all the cardboard and paper, a crusher for all the cans and special containers for all the bottles.
The amount is staggering to see even after just a ten day cruise.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

Life is too short to blend in.

Rotterdam and Amsterdam now anchored off Limissol. I think the Ipswich local paper indicated they were to join the rest of the fleet in Rosyth

I believe the Rotterdam and Amsterdam will be renamed in Holland before sailing to Rosyth

Its not just cruise leisure that's had its bubble burst by this pandemic, Air lines, Ferries, Holidaying in general is taking a hammering. Lets be honest if any of us had a choice where you would rather be home or abroad if you fell ill NO CONTEST. Terry
