Why would anyone pay a lot of money to go with your wife, and watch a load of chavs misbehaving ??, these pigeon loft ships are nothing more than Butlins afloat, neither would interest me, kt

Apparently passengers pay £29.50 ppd to drink as much as they want. Drinks over £6.50 not included.

Thereby lies the cause, some people are disgusting when it comes to open bar, even in the pub with a carvery, plate laden high, and then left overs on the plate enough to feed one person. kt

Keith, very true about Carvery, I have seen young kids with a mountain of veg and potatoes on their plate, half of it left behind.

    Hi Vic.
It seems that these cruise liners are always looking for something new to keep passengers happy. What about say, three days on wartime rations, with noise of bombs exploding over the speakers, and with a questionnaire at the end asking should food be wasted, and do you think load music is the thing, they would soon wake up to reality.
    Cheers Des

This was P&O UK, I can assure P&O Australia is little better.
They provoke passengers into buying the drink all you can packages at some stupid price per day.
They gat as full as a boot and bingo, off they go.
P&O Oz is in reality only interested in the 18 to 30 year old's who will spend all their money in the bars.
We did one with them and vowed never again.

But please, not all cruise ships are like that. Yes I have been on a couple where there have been fights but only between a couple of people, not the whole bloody ship.

Unless you have cruised then you are not in a position to pass judgement on the style of the ship, the manner in which they operate, where they go or how the greater majority of passengers behave.

For many it is a great way to travel to see places you may otherwise not get to, to meet with mind like persons and have a very enjoyable holiday.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

most things are bought with credit cards and the charge pays for the crews wages so on top of the cruise you pay again for the crew just greed?
