Cruises
A short while ago one of the members was looking to book a cruise but was a bit put off by the single traveller surcharge that some companies apply for single traveller's.
This outfit popped up on my email adverts not too long ago, you will need to google them.
Silverseas cruises.
Apparently they do not charge extra for solo passengers, there ships only carry around 800 passengers and they have a wide variety of destinations.

A number of the bigger companies are now either building, or doing some refits to accomodate singles. There is I am told now a big demand for this and taking a double and paying the surcharge puts a lot of singles off.
