I really am not surprised I think to preserve a ship of that size would be a wonderful thing to do but I think the cost prohibits it . When you look at the footfall required in visitors and how but you can charge per capita set against the cost of the upkeep and Maintenance I think these things can only be undertaken by a government not by a charity
