For those who have never done a cruise then i think you are missing out on a good holiday. Forget your time at sea, things have greatly changed since then. Sit back and enjoy the time at sea and in port. But if you do go then I suggest ships of no more than about 2000 passengers. The very big ones 2500 plus are very impersonal.
Ian #8, thanks for that info, we were looking at Florida sailings because the wife wants to do the Caribbean ! We have done the Med a few times so are looking further, but its a bit too cold up Scandinavia!
We might eventually have to settle for one of those cruises, it's easier to do a " no fly" from the UK.
Yes Cappy the HA ships are pretty smart looking, not like some of those floating wedding cakes. They are well run too.
