A cheap wrist watch, camera in your pocket, , cheap wallet with just enough cash to get by' no bags and so on. You see some folk that stand out with all kinds of trappings, especially the Americans. It all depends where you are of course, but a friend of ours was robbed in Vatican City !! So there's no guarantees, you have to take your chances if you want to have an adventure !
My daughter who has just lost her job is taking herself off for a three months visiting Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong and other places and I am anxious for her safety, but as they say " life goes on"

I often woke up in my bunk wondering how I got back to the ship !!
    Happy days

Remember on one of the line voyages on the Oriana to Australia back in the 80's we docked in Cristobal end before transiting the canal.

Tannoy was put out not to go ashore on your own and don't show any expensive items.

This American gut aged about 50-60 just did what he was told not to do, the next day his face was a right mess after he had been mugged loosing his camera wallet and god knows what else.

Thanks for that Kevin, all I have to do now is convince my good lady that with a little bit of care and common sense, all will (should be) well.

    Default On Guns

Doubt if passengers on cruise ships are allowed to carry guns, quite rightly.

In the US every moron has at least one.

One of my old girl friends, Betty, a big busted young lady, married an American Soldier, he became a Policeman in New Jersey, One night Betty was alone when he was on duty, She heard a noise in the house, she got a Magnum 44 and a big Blackman was creeping up her stairs so she blew his head off.
    Betty became a hero.
I always knew she could kill a man eventually.
    Cheers
    Brian.

Port Said chase by some Arabs .The best one was in Naples .up in the red light district myself and a couple of my shipmates got stopped by some young Ities demanding money .Inmy inside pocket i had a plastic colt pistol it looked like the real thing i had bought in America when i showed it to these guys they took off .This is true .In1946 Naples was very bad we had two guys come back to the ship in their under wear.I bet there is a lot of you guys who have had similar stories

Funny thing Kev, you never come across as being a Salvo shopper.

Obviously she did not try too hard with you Brian. A good blow job will do that.
