Holland America have that rule in the booking forms,
Safety is paramount, if a passenger is missing, people have to search,
It is also posted on the safety notice in their cabins, everyone should know about it,
This years World cruise from Fort Lauderdale two couples were put ashore for not attending before we sailed. It was their choice, for being stupid.

Having just looked at a couple of videos of the Scarlet Lady on you tube I think that is the first ship I have ever seen that the front end is even uglier than the a**e end and the top deck on her in a virtual reality video appears to show what can only be described as 'Beach huts' The ship might be at the cutting edge of design but I agree she is ugly.

We are all well aware that over time there will be changes to not just ships but cars, buildings etc.

We have come along way from the days of sails.

But why do some architects like to portray what they saw in their nightmare?

Cutting edge maybe, but a bit on the blunt side I fear.

See that princess cruises have had to evacuate 2000 passengers from one of their ships after a serious outbreak of Nora virous on board on a cruise calling into freemantle.

I guess some things don't change #55. My husband was stuck in Vancouver in 1970 for 3 weeks as they had typhoid on board. No one was allowed on or off the ship. It stayed anchored out in the Harbour until the powers that be decided they had everything under control.
